The opportunity to share my passion for nursing with students interested in the medical field here at Sno-Isle is a dream come true every day. Thirty years of experience in hospitals, clinics, long term care, home health and travel nursing provide sound foundations for instructing.
Students learn basic anatomy, physiology and terminology in the class room first semester, as well as the physical skills of patient care. Second semester we take those skills out into the real world and do patient care in the long term care setting. Along the way we delve into bioethical considerations, explore diverse cultures and learn about the many medical careers available. |
